America is under attack from a red menace that has swept through the south, invading homes and threatening the innocent the red imported fire ant.

In post-war America, obsessed with the threat of Communism, people lived in fear of reds under the beds but while people looked to the skies for an invasion that never arrived, a far more insidious menace crept in beneath their feet.

The fire ant had begun its march across the American south an invading army sweeping all before it, decimating wildlife but few people suspected the true horror of what was to come.

Today, nothing is safe from this invading force.
