In years gone by, heavy horses were used for forestry throughout the world.

They are now making a comeback as conservation groups and others revert to the more traditional methods of managing forests and woods in this country.

Filmed in Hampshire, this DVD joins a hardworking team of heavy horses and owners clearing larch trees from what was originally an oak wood.
