Actor and one time Blue Peter presenter Peter Duncan backpacks around the world with his family in this six part series which was originally broadcast on CBBC and Sky as 'Travelbug'. It shows Peter, his wife Annie and their children Lucy, Katie, Georgia and Arthur starting their expedition in Europe, reaching Egypt and then going on safari in Zimbabwe. In Nepal, they trek to 16,000 feet in the Himalayas and then fly to the Southern Hemisphere where they reach New Zealand and sail round French Polynesia.

In Peru, they visit Macchu Picchu and then spend Christmas in the Caribbean. It was these adventures that inspired the family's passion for travel and paved the way towards future trips to China and India which can be seen in Volumes 2 & 3.
