TRUCKWORLD
China 2009

Produced by PMP Transport Films and shot and produced by Dave Spencer, the film features scenes filmed in April 2009 during an extensive tour of electric traction systems in China which took us from the far north east right down to Hong Kong.

The first section takes place in Hebei province to the west of the capital Beijing, and from there, we venture through coal mining areas to take us to Taiyuan, the port city serving the capital, before travelling onto Wuhan, another huge city.

Various shots and scenes were taken along the journey, of masses of lorries, and also from a good elevated position and to the bewilderment of the lorry drivers, an atmospheric sequence.
