This programme is compiled exclusively from 16mm film taken by Wynns' staff during the 1940s and 1950s. John Wynn had been searching for these 'lost' films for around 25 years and they were eventually located by his son Peter in 2006.
This programme starts with Wynn's first Diamond T, still in Khaki paint, assisting Wynn's only Foden 6 wheel Drawbar Tractor moving an excavator in the Swansea area. There are a number of moves shown where Diamond Ts are the only motive power used, including one move where a 23ft diameter ship's propeller is tilted to an angle of 30 degrees to enable it to pass through a 16ft 2ins gap.
Pacifics 195 and 192 are shown double-headed as they move a 69' long and 14' square column box, weighing 72 tons, up the 1 in 6 gradient of Black Rock Hill.
Four Diamond Ts and a Pacific were required to move a 185 ton casting from Davy-United in Sheffield to Northern Aluminium at Rogerstone, Monmouthshire via Buckingham. At Gloucester the load had to be transhipped onto a railway truck to avoid a weak bridge and the reloaded after a rail journey of some 400 yards.
Many more moves and a great variety of motive power units complete this programme.
