The fierce ambition of expert Bryan Moore is to paraglide from Wanaka to the base of Mount Cook, New Zealand`s highest mountain. The feat has never been achieved by any paraglider.

New Zealander Bryan is joined by pilot Rob Darby from England and by two Swiss pilots, Remo Stussi and Nicole Nussbaum. Fellow enthusiast Gavin Wills accompanies them in his sailplane Hawkwing. In the go-it-alone spirit of their quest, the team members film their own journey into the heart of the Southern Alps over broad valleys, jagged peaks and huge glaciers.

Against all the odds, Bryan accomplishes his mission and sets a record flight over one of the most challenging terrains in the world. A mesmerising account of man`s determination to harness the natural elements.
