Modern Tractors are quite amazing machines and this programme, made for children of all ages, takes a detailed look at many kinds of tractors to find out what makes them so interesting.

We invite the children to join us in exploring tractors of all shapes, sizes, makes, and models. To make it easier for them to remember, we've divided the tractors into coloured sections and encourage them to select a favourite.

We'll show them round the inside of a tractor cab, eqipped with all the latest technology and explain how some of the key parts of the tractor function. Along the way, we talk about associated machinery such as ploughs, cultivators and seed drills which are shown working on the farm, carrying out their seasonal tasks.

We've included some great quizzes and amazing facts such as, which are the biggest, fastest or strangest tractors. We encourage the children to take the information out and about into the countryside to do some real tractor spotting and find out just how much they know.

This action packed, colourful and educational programme, wonderfully narrated by Jo Wyatt, a familiar voice whose previous narrations include Philip Pullman's 'His Dark Materials' trilogy, should be enjoyed by all young tractor fans and viewed over and over again.
