CALDON CANAL

We cruise along the Caldon Canal from Etruria Junction to reach Leek, then towards Froghall Basin and the Uttoxeter Canal.

Starting with the urban landscapes of the Potteries we soon pass some of the last remaining bottle kilns before reaching the glorious open countryside.

Highlights include the picturesque junction and locks at Hazlehurst and crossing both over and under the Hazlehurst Aqueduct.
 
See if we fit through the low profile of Froghall Tunnel to reach the end of the Caldon Canal and cruise through the first lock of the Uttoxeter Canal to reach the Basin, or if we have to finish our journey on foot.
