DROITWICH CANALS
Restoration

We follow the route of the Droitwich Canals from Hanbury Junction with the Worcester and Birmingham Canal to Hawford Junction with the River Severn.

Navigation is limited, with the canals being restored and replacement sections under construction to replace those lost to modern development.

We'll see how the Droitwich Junction Canal takes us down through the countryside to join the River Salwarpe at Droitwich Spa, then on through the recently restored barge lock onto the Droitwich Barge Canal to complete our journey through to the River Severn.
