Set in more than 1000 acres of glorious Derbyshire countryside, Chatsworth House is one of the most famous stately homes in England. This unique journey takes the viewer through the most spectacular of Chatsworth's 300 rooms which contain one of the nations finest collections of antiques, furniture and works of art.

En route, we discover extraordinary treasures - the magnificent State Rooms designed to be used by the crowned heads of Europe, the great dining room where Princess Victoria - later to be Queen Victoria - took her first dinner with adults, along with superb sculptures, rare and beautiful pieces of furniture, and pictures by Van Dyck, Hals and Rembrandt. Today, Chatworth is still home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, as it has been for more than 300 hundred years.

Outside, our cameras have recorded the changing of the seasons in Chatsworth's magnificent 100 acre garden, with its famous cascade, rockeries, grotto and azalea dell, set in an unforgettable landscape designed by Lancelot 'Capability' Brown.
