Years ago, the cornstack was common place in every farm in Ireland – today it has virtually disappeared.

This production captures once again the building of a cornstack, from the binding of the corn, stooking and hutting to the erection of the stack itself.

The skills used, the chat and banter and the threshing day itself rings to life, the way many used to live.
