Very unusual footage in this programme shows the revolutionary platform twinning containerised crane being dismantled into eighty standard transport containers and then taken from Rotterdam by sea and rail to New Brunswick, Canada. There, it is reassembled to a height of 200 metres to lift and position a petrochemical works boiler.

Other remarkable footage shows three 1500-ton boilers transported by inland waterways to Bratislava where they are lifted by another innovative crane, the MSG 50, whose counterweight is formed of transport containers filled with locally available materials.

The DVD contains scenes of a 2,200 ton J-laytower pipe-layer being moved, as well as the transport of an old - completely undismantled - warehouse for preservation.

Truckers show how they manage the annual transport of a dredger and associated equipment to a reservoir high in the Austrian Alps and there is an exciting night transport of petrochemical boilers in the Canadian winter. Finally, professionals make easy work of the land transport of two Royal Dutch navy submarines.

If you like to see abnormal loads expertly handled or you are interested in the latest crane techbnology, this is the DVD for you.
